Dogs: Vomiting: 1 mg/kg i.v. or s.c. q24h or 2 mg/kg p.o. q24h. Motion sickness: tablets at a dose rate of 8 mg/kg q24h for a maximum of 2 days given 1 hour before journey. Prevention of chemotherapy-induced emesis: 1 mg/kg s.c. q24h or 2 mg/kg p.o. q24h, given at least 1 hour in advance.

Dogs
- 1 mg/kg SQ, or 2 mg/kg PO, once daily, for up to 5 days in dogs 2-7 months of age, and until the problem is resolved for dogs older than 7 months.
- Motion sickness: 8 mg/kg PO once daily for up to 2 consecutive days.
- To prevent opioid-induced vomiting: 2-4 mg/kg PO prior to anesthetic procedure.

Cats
- 1 mg/kg once daily IV, SQ, or PO (same dose for all causes of vomiting, including motion sickness).
- To decrease vomiting and nausea from kidney disease: 4 mg per cat per day PO.
